Marimba!

Willowmoore’s Marimba band is lled with
highly energetic students who are extremely
passionate about creating music and playing to-
gether as a team. The team consists of Karabo
Lefatola, Crystal Gaza, Sinenhlanhla Mpongose,
Matheo Tshabangu, Kgalalelo Nyantumba,
Tswanelo Mantoele, Kagiso Twala, Hellen Nkosi
and nd Rosemary Moshoeshoe.

The quality sounds and performance of the
band has seen them travel far and wide to play
at many venues including Birchwood Hotel,
Vosloorus, Alberton, Germiston and Sandton.
They have also been live on air during the 947
school takeover. The team hopes to travel even
further in 2020 and plans to tour Gauteng Prov-
innce before going National!

The band would not be what it is without Mr
Mathipa, who inspires and encourages imagina-
tion in every aspect of their work. We cant wait
to see what 2020 holds for them!
