The Willowmoore Story

Looking at this ink illustration-which I drew almost 20 years ago
when my career in education began- is like walking in and out of a
dream. This encounter left a mark on my spirit.

The past 6 years of my life have been a painful experience of trial he past 6 years of my life have been a painful experience of trial
    T
and tribulation. The bright comet that was my career was shattered
and scattered into isolated torches that faded into the evening sky
and a terrible darkness engulfed my soul. Prevailing over such ad-

versity left a wound that refused to heal.

It is wonderful to disclose that seeing this work still so majestically
displayed in this beautiful building is like discovering the secrets of
resurrection. It is a testament that courage never fails. It heals my

heart to discover that while I felt rejected and despised by the
world, there were those who still upheld and cherished my artwork
    to a degree of veneration.

I feel as though this work has been turned into a cult item. Thank feel as though this work has been turned into a cult item. Thank
    I
you, Willowmoore, for allowing me to share in this profound experi-
    ence.

In acknowledgement of your loyalty, I have re-dedicated a new
colour version to celebrate this re-birth. This new work is like a
beautiful cantabile, so sing-able with bright colours of sweet red and

deep royal purple. The work is christened ‘Metamorphosis’. I hope
viewing it will be a pleasurable experience

    Regards,
